General Information

Welcome to TechGuy Wadebridge. By purchasing products or using our repair services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order or requesting a repair.

Warranty Policy

Unless otherwise stated, all sales and repairs include a 12-month warranty from the date of payment.

  • The warranty covers manufacturer defects on parts or products supplied by TechGuy Wadebridge.

  • The warranty does not cover physical damage, liquid damage, accidental damage, or misuse.

  • Devices that have suffered liquid damage are not eligible for warranty coverage under any circumstances.

  • Customers are advised to check their device’s functionality before leaving the store.

  • Opening a device may void the manufacturer’s warranty; TechGuy Wadebridge is not responsible if this occurs.

  • If a pre-repair checklist cannot be completed, we cannot cover post-repair issues under warranty.

  • Any subsequent repairs or services required after warranty expiration will be charged to the customer.

Collection Policy

Devices must be collected within 30 calendar days of repair completion or notification.
After 90 days, any uncollected items will be considered abandoned. TechGuy Wadebridge reserves the right to reverse repairs or upcycle the device to recover costs.

Returns and Refunds

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 14 days of receipt.

  • Returned items must be in their original condition with proof of purchase.

  • Refunds or exchanges are subject to inspection and approval.

  • Warranty claims will be processed according to the terms outlined above.

  • Repairs or devices showing physical or liquid damage are not eligible for refund or warranty.

Shipping and Delivery

  • Orders are processed and dispatched within 1–2 working days.

  • Tracked and insured delivery is available for £8.

  • Free delivery is available for orders over £400.

  • Local collection from TechGuy Wadebridge is available at no additional cost.

  • In the event of stock delays or delivery issues, customers will be contacted promptly.

Liability

  • TechGuy Wadebridge is not liable for:

  • Loss of data during repair (please back up your device).

  • Damage resulting from misuse, neglect, or unauthorised modifications.

  • Manufacturer warranty voids due to opening or third-party repairs.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
