Nintendo Switch Port Replacement
Replacing a damaged USB-C port on a Nintendo Switch involves carefully removing the old port and preparing the motherboard for a new connection. For minor damage, this can be straightforward, but more severe cases require precise work to restore full functionality.
In one extreme example, all the pads on the board were ripped off after the console was dropped while plugged in. To repair this, I ran 23 X 0.1mm copper jumper wires to reconnect the new port to the board. This delicate process restores all the necessary data and power connections, allowing the Switch to function good as new.

SD Card Reader FPC Replacement
We replaced a damaged SD card reader FPC, which is the flexible connector on the board that links the SD card slot to the motherboard. This particular FPC had 20 tiny pins, each carrying important signals for the SD card to function. By carefully removing the old connector and soldering a high-quality replacement, we restored reliable SD card detection, bringing the device back to perfect working order.
